Valentine's is almost here......

Time to break out the little Valentine's heart candy. :) Today I let Hannah see the little candy hearts for the first time..... she had so much fun playing with them! (No, we didn't let her eat any- but she did get a taste of them!)

At the last minute, Chad and I decided to let Hannah participate in a baby modeling contest tonight. Her age group, of course, had the most contestants!!

When they announced the winners, Hannah won "Best Headshot" for her age category in the Photo/Photogenic Category and they also had an award for "Best Commercial Baby" (the baby they feel was the best for print/commercial ads) in the 3 overall age groups and Hannah won for her age group! We are so proud! She gets all paid fees to the state level competition if we decide to let her move on. She could get a test photo shoot for modeling......

11 months old......

TODAY!

I can't believe that Hannah is already 11 months old. In only one more month we'll be celebrating her first birthday! Whew- time sure flies. Hannah has also learned a new trick on her 11 month birthday.... BITING! Yep, she left some nice teeth marks on my hand and leg tonight. Little monster- she'd sink those little teeth in before I even knew what was coming! Let's hope this phase passes very quickly. :)

Hannah's First Birthday

My friend Amanda had her baby boy, Asa Landon, on Friday. He weighed in at 7 lbs 15 oz and was 20 inches long. He is just such a little cutie! I had the honor of taking some pictures of him in his first hours- look at all of those little wrinkles and tiny hands! It can really give a girl a bad case of baby fever! :)

Happy New Year everyone!

I had the day off from work today so what did we do? We played with the camera! :) Ok, I also took Hannah shopping so we could get out of the house a bit....... and I *tried* to start on my New Year's resolution of keeping the house more organized- hence the big pink box Hannah is in in the pics. I was trying to put up the clothes she's outgrown.

We also need to finish taking down the Christmas decorations- our poor Christmas tree is sitting naked as a jaybird in the corner just waiting to be taken down. :)
